About Hopper @kocsmy
October 2026

I've been designing and building software since 2009.
Mostly on my own, or in very small teams.
I bootstrapped PingPong with about eight people
and sold it to Hotjar.

Small teams are fast because everyone carries the context.
What they never have is someone for the follow-up.
The bug someone mentioned on the call.
The spec nobody wrote.
The question that sat in a channel for two days.

So I'm building that someone.
Hopper joins the calls, reads the threads,
and does the work.

It's named after Grace Hopper.
She wrote the first compiler,
and her team taped a moth into the logbook:
"First actual case of bug being found."
A teammate who finds the bug. That's the idea.

It's a one-person company.
One plan, one price, no sales calls.
If you write to me, you're talking to the person who builds it.
